A Good Word Makes It Glad

Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad (Proverbs 12:25).

Good word makes glad

A good word makes us glad.

Dwelling on anxiety-producing and depressing thoughts can bring us down. But sometimes reading or hearing a good word can help us break free. (Of course there are deeper forms of depression that require counseling, and we encourage those facing this trial to get help.)

Seek the good words of the Bible and positive friends, and spread good, encouraging words to brighten others’ day.
